This past Sunday, our family friends Elizabeth and her Mom, Barbara hosted a baby shower in Sanford for us. So many family friends came to celebrate the arrival of Baby Tipp and showered us with lots of wonderful gifts. Elizabeth and Barbara put a lot of effort to make the shower extra special with tons of details including an amazing diaper cake for the centerpiece. The favors were animal crackers in little take out boxes. The little girls also had a lot of fun guessing the number of banana runts in the baby bottle. And of course the food was delish – Almond Coconut Cupcakes, cream cheese sandwiches, fruit, and Apple Mint Green Tea Punch! 
Hopefully I’ll get a few more pictures of me opening gifts, which was so much fun. For a small shower, we got 3 Boppy pillows! Tipp also got a handmade baby blanket and his very own Jefferson cup (since he is a Jefferson) from my Dad and Mame. Ben’s favorite gift was from Lillie – a Tiger from Build a Bear representing the Year of the Tiger for the Chinese New Year and she named him Stripes and dressed him in a Panther’s outfit. Granny and Granddaddy gave me a new Vera Bradley diaper bag in blue just for a boy. We received our stroller from Elizabeth and Barbara. Other gifts we got were a birthday plate, christmas ornament, photo album, humidifier, diaper genie, lots of bath stuff and many of the softest blankets and new born clothes. 
Ben and I are so grateful for everyone who already loves our sweet little Tippett and is helping us get ready for his arrival. We can’t wait for all of our friends and family to meet him!
